Paperworth Books is an independent publisher based in Nigeria. Established in 2002 as a bookshop, we have evolved to publish authentic and unique voices in Nigerian fiction, seeking to mainstream marginalised voices. We also publish narrative non-fiction, including biographies, memoirs, and history books. Founded by Ibiso Graham-Douglas, a seasoned publisher and book industry professional with over two decades of expertise. She firmly believes in the inherent richness of African narratives, considering them fundamentally universal and complete in their own right. Paperworth Books is open to partnerships and collaborations on book development, seeking to foster innovative solutions for the democratisation of learning in Africa.
