Happy Readers are all you need to read! A specifically structured reading program for children with ESOL – books, teacher training, class resources and M & E implementation in conjunction with donor partners. Primarily aimed at Grades 1 and 2, but frequently used throughout schools as remedial readers. Our books are fun, happy, brightly coloured and use animals as characters in familiar rural and urban settings. Happy Readers promote positive African values as well as sensitising children and teachers to gender-specific issues, best cultural practices and better-world themes. Ministry of Education approved for use in schools in Zimbabwe and Zambia.
