amaBooks is a small, independent publisher of Zimbabwean novels, short stories and poetry, with a few local history and culture titles. We strive to produce texts that reflect the society in which the writers live, concentrating on literary fiction in English that opens windows on the history and culture of Zimbabwe. Since our inception in 2000 we have published work by over 200 writers. The rights to our titles have been acquired for the UK, USA, Canada, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria, and several have achieved recognition both nationally and internationally.
